Reuben Slone
Reuben Slone has served as a director of the Tuesday Morning board since June 2019. A supply chain and retail industry veteran, Mr. Slone presently holds the position of Executive Vice President, Supply Chain and Procurement for Advance Auto Parts (NYSE:AAP), a $9 billion auto parts and accessories retailer. He joined the company in 2018 after serving on the Advance Board from 2016-2018. Prior to joining Advance, he spent six years at Walgreens as Senior Vice President, Supply Chain and Logistics. From 2004-2012, Mr. Slone was Executive Vice President, Supply Chain and General Manager at OfficeMax, Inc. In this role, he also oversaw the B2B “Services” segment for the company. From 2001-2004, he held a number of senior-level positions at Whirlpool Corporation, including Vice President, Global Supply Chain; Vice President, North American Region Supply Chain; and Vice President, Global eBusiness. Mr. Slone was also previously with General Motors Corporation from 1997-2000 as eGM Director, Global eSales and Director, Global Manufacturing Strategic Process and System Alignment. Prior to joining GM, Mr. Slone was with Federal-Mogul Corporation, an American developer, manufacturer and supplier of products for automotive, commercial, aerospace, marine, rail and off-road vehicles; and industrial, agricultural and power-generation applications. His early career included roles at EDS, Ernst & Young, and Engineering Technology LTD.
In nominating Mr. Slone, the Board of Directors considered his extensive supply chain expertise and leadership roles at a number of best-in-class companies. He is expected to contribute to the company's next phase of supply chain positioning and improvements.
